TriZetto HIPAA Gateway™ helps your organization comply with HIPAA standards for EDI transactions. The solution is highly scalable, and receives, routes, stores and sends transactions consistent with ANSI X12 standards. It supports HIPAA-regulated EDI transactions for TriZetto solutions such as Facets Extended Enterprise™, ClaimFacts® and QicLink™, and many third-party applications.
The HIPAA Electronic Transactions and Code Sets Rules require the capture and processing of designated EDI transaction data as well as the return of data (from a request, or input transaction) with the response or payment transaction. TriZetto HIPAA Gateway handles data elements that exceed the scope of what your current system uses or requires and stores them in a repository.
