Medical Care

TriZetto routinely makes available a comprehensive medical plan through a UnitedHealthcare organization in the area in which the employee resides. Cost of this program varies by level of coverage and number of covered dependents. Medical coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

Dental Care

TriZetto routinely makes available a comprehensive dental plan through UnitedHealthcare Dental. Cost of this program varies by level of coverage and number of covered dependents. Dental coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

Vision Care

TriZetto routinely makes available a comprehensive vision plan through Vision Service Plan (VSP) in the state in which the employee resides. Cost of this program varies by level of coverage and number of covered dependents. Vision Care becomes effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts

TriZetto provides the opportunity to enroll in pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts such as the Dependent Care and Health Care reimbursement accounts. The maximum contribution to each account is $5,000 per calendar year; the minimum is $200 per calendar year.

Life Insurance

TriZetto fully pays for basic group term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage for each employee in an amount equal to one (1) times his or her annual salary. For the first $50,000 of life insurance plus accidental death and dismemberment, the premium is entirely paid by TriZetto and is non-taxable. For amounts over $50,000 of company paid life insurance, TriZetto pays the premium, but the excess amount is taxable to the employee and reported as imputed income on each paycheck and on the W2 form. Additional voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance is also available. Spouse and Dependent Life and AD&D Insurance coverage is available at group rates for eligible TriZetto employees.

Disability

The TriZetto Short Term Disability benefit plan provides each employee with income protection of an amount equal to sixty percent (60%) of his or her monthly base salary coordinated with any State, Federal or other disability program (if applicable). Employees will automatically be eligible for Short Term Disability after six months of employment. The term of this disability coverage is for up to six months less the amount of time taken under the company's sick leave benefit for the disability. An optional Long-Term Disability coverage program is available through payroll deductions.

Tuition Reimbursement

TriZetto will reimburse registration and course fees at a rate based upon course completion and grade received for up to $2,000 per calendar year for undergraduate classes, and $4,000 per calendar year for graduate classes. The waiting period is six months from date of hire.

Retirement Benefits

All employees are eligible to participate in The TriZetto Group, Inc. 401(k) Plan and defer 1-25% of salary each pay period on a pre-tax basis. There are 22 investment options to choose from. The discretionary company match is $.50 for each $1.00 contributed to the plan up to 6% of pay. Participants must be an active employee on December 31 of each year to receive the match. The matching vesting schedule is a three (3) year cliff-vesting schedule based on hire date. Zero vesting the first and second year of service and 100% at the end of the third year.

Group Auto/Home Insurance

TriZetto offers group rates for auto and homeowners insurance through MetLife. Premiums are paid through payroll deductions.

Group Legal Plan

TriZetto offers a group legal plan through MetLife, which gives employees access to local participating law firms by phone or office consultations. Enrollment is a one-year commitment. Premiums are paid through payroll deductions.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

TriZetto offers a fully paid Employee Assistance Program, which is completely confidential, and available to all employees and their dependents 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Vacation

0 - 4 years of service: 10 days per year
5 - 9 years of service: 15 days per year
10 - 14 years of service:     20 days per year
15 - 19 years of service: 25 days per year
20+ years of service: 30 days per year
Sick Time

6 days per year
Floating Holidays

2 days per year
National Holidays

9 days per year
